The thing that inspired me to make this has been my previous flower related projects. From the beginning I never had the mindset of having a lot of flower or nature projects but here I am with 6 projects that have some sort of relation regarding to nature. Reasons why I tend to make flower projects include how I love that there are so many different types of flowers. I also love the wide variety of colors that flowers have. Whenever I smell a bouquet of flowers, I automatically think of summer and gardening. I hope to have my own little garden when I´m older.

The thing that inspired me to make this the most is the way different famous people take on the meaning of ¨love¨. I can´t say that I have experienced love for someone on a relationship level as of right now. I choose to collect bits and pieces of love song lyrics and sad love quotes from the internet. On the far right side, I plan on printing off a picture of a real heart and destroying it, resembling a broken heart due to love. (I had a picture of a heart printed off but it was smaller then what I had wanted it to be so I have to wait to print the appropriate size heart out). This project wasn't meant to display the way I think of love, more so of how love can have its positives and negatives, ups and downs. This was my first ever project I did where I damaged it and it was very nerve-racking for me at first.

The thing that inspired me to make this was my childhood with my sister. Her and I were really close growing up because we shared the same room for so many years and I knew I could tell her anything and everything. In our backyard we had a big tree with a swing we had our dad hang up for us and we would always be outside swinging. Her and I spent most of our time outside and we loved watching the pedals fall from the tree especially during fall. This project not only connects with my sister and I, but it also relates to theme I kinda have going on. Each year I make at least one flower or flower pedal related project and it usually is the one that relates to me the most.

What mostly inspired me to make this was the love I have for the city, watching it rain, and snow. I incorporated all three of those things with this project. Rain=the umbrella, building=the city, and snowflakes=snowing. At first I was thinking about doing all the snowflakes the same but then I got to thinking that not all snowflakes are the same so I mixed the shape of them around a little bit. I think that the part I like the most about this is the buildings are not all connected to the bottom part of the umbrella. To me it kind of looks like an illusion but you can still see the image of the buildings even though they are not complete.
